Financial literacy · Board game
The board game that teaches students how money really works.
Roll the dice. Earn, spend, save, lose, learn. Money Mayhem turns financial literacy into a game students actually want to play.

Real money decisions. No real risk.
Money Mayhem puts students in charge of their own (pretend) finances. They earn income, weigh purchases, take risks — and feel the consequences in real time. By the end of the game, they've made the kinds of decisions adults make every day.
How it plays
Go around the board.
Earn
Pick an occupation and collect your salary each lap.
Spend
Pay the bills, the rent, the surprise expenses.
Save
Bank a buffer for when the mayhem strikes.
Risk
Draw a Challenge card
Win
Most money standing at the final whistle takes it.
What students walk away with
Skills that stick after the game ends.
Budgeting & saving
Plan ahead, set aside, and watch a buffer pay off when chaos strikes.
Smart spending
Needs vs. wants. Splurges that pay off vs. ones that bite back.
Risk & reward
Save-or-spend rolls, lucky breaks, and the cost of doing nothing.
Real-world skills
Insurance, debt, opportunity cost — concepts they'll actually use.
A round of play
45–60 minutes of organised chaos.
Each player starts with a job, an income, and a goal. Every turn brings a paycheck, a decision, and a curveball — bills, bargains, bonuses, or breakdowns. The player who navigates the mayhem best wins.
